  4. We are excited and very happy to hear that you arrived in Ethiopia! We wanted to give you a Selders/Steinle family update (I think we’ll call our periodic updates “Adventures in Olathe”).

The kids are having a lot of fun together! They played with Play-Doh and the toy fire station, and ran around Papa’s and Beppe’s house all day. One of the highlights was when Brendan found a locust on the sandal he left outside (he was really excited about that). I guess the boys found the locust’s shell on the swing set in the backyard later in the day.

Harrison and I are doing well. We danced in his room in the morning and watched Sesame Street before going to “Papa’s and Beppe’s house to see Brendan, Aidan and Lola.” When I changed his diaper he noticed my hairy legs (I was wearing shorts). “Wha da (what’s that)?,” he asked. “My hairy legs,” I said. “Hi Hay lay (hi hairy legs),” he replied. Priceless….

I went to work and things were pretty busy, so I didn't get home as soon as I wanted. When I finally arrived at Papa's and Beppe's house to pick up Harrison, Aidan said, “Hello Eric; (it’s) time to walk to poop deck.” I guess the Adventures in Olathe have begun….

Please let us know how you guys are doing. We look forward to hearing from you soon.

    Love,

Eric (and Mark, Becky, Trish, Brendan, Aidan, Harrison and Lola)

  5. Greetings! So happy to hear you all made it to Addis! I woke up in the middle of the night last night and figured it must have been to pray for your team, so at 5AM Lenexa time I was praying for your first full day in Addis - that you would see and experience God in a new and amazing way today. I am so proud of all of you and the sacrifices that you made to be there. Can't wait to hear the updates. Take care!
